There is something rather special about watching the sunrise quietly drift across the Magalies River Valley from a hot air balloon, especially when the occasion itself carries deep personal meaning.
Following his flight with us on 2 May 2026, Gerald Lehana shared the message below with our team:
“I just wanted to say thank you again for everything.
The day went amazingly well, and I really appreciate how pleasant, helpful, and understanding the Bill Harrop’s team were throughout. From the planning to the morning itself, everything felt well handled and supportive, which made a very important moment even more special for us.
Please also send a special thank you to the Operations Manager. She was so kind, and her words on the morning were genuinely calming.
And please also extend my thanks to Eugene. He was an amazing pilot, and the landing was so gentle we hardly even realised the ride was over. His flying was incredibly smooth and reassuring.
It was a beautiful experience, and one we will remember for a very long time.”
