  1. Take the N14 towards Krugersdorp
  2. Continue past Krugersdorp towards Ventersdorp / Magaliesburg
  3. Take the R512 turn-off to Hartbeespoort
  4. Follow the R512 towards Hartbeespoort
  5. Turn left onto the R560 (Skeerpoort / Hekpoort road)
  6. Continue for a few kilometres
  7. Look out for signage for Bill Harrop’s Balloon Safaris
  8. The entrance will be on the side of the road, leading onto a maintained gravel road.

🚗 From Pretoria (±60–75 minutes)

  1. Take the N4 towards Rustenburg
  2. Take the R512 off-ramp to Hartbeespoort
  3. Travel through Hartbeespoort (past the dam)
  4. Continue on the R512 towards Lanseria
  5. Turn right onto the R560 (Skeerpoort / Hekpoort)
  6. Drive a short distance
  7. The entrance will be on the side of the road, leading onto a maintained gravel road.

🚗 From Krugersdorp (±30–40 minutes)

  1. Take the N14 towards Ventersdorp / Magaliesburg
  2. Turn right onto the R560 towards Hekpoort / Skeerpoort
  3. Follow the R560 through the Magalies River Valley
  4. Continue until you see signage for Bill Harrop’s Balloon Safaris
  5. The entrance will be on the side of the road, leading onto a maintained gravel road.
