The Private Four is an exclusive private hot air balloon safari created for just four passengers, with your own balloon and pilot for the flight.
For October and November 2026, Bill Harrop’s “Original” Balloon Safaris is offering The Private Four, an exclusive private hot air balloon safari created for exactly four passengers.

A private balloon experience normally starting from R32,000.

To qualify for The Private Four rate, the reservation must be booked, paid in full and flown during October or November 2026.
Your private hot air balloon safari
Your morning begins before sunrise at our private launch site in the beautiful Magalies River Valley.
Enjoy tea, coffee or hot chocolate and mini muffins while the balloon is prepared for flight, before climbing aboard your private balloon.
Once airborne, approximately an hour of ballooning awaits, with the direction and journey determined by the morning’s winds.
After landing, celebrate the flight with sparkling wine and orange juice before returning to our Clubhouse Pavilion for a full buffet breakfast.
Allow approximately three to four hours for the complete experience.

All passengers must meet our standard passenger eligibility requirements. Passenger weights are required before a booking can be confirmed.
