Bill Harrop’s “Original” Balloon Safari’s…do it in unassailable style
Scenic flights depart at sunrise from Harrop’s traditionally exquisite and beautifully appointed Clubhouse Pavilion and Restaurant in the Magalies River Valley in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site bordering Gauteng and North West Province.
Internationally hailed as South Africa’s best value, best quality balloon and tour operator and winner of the South African Tourism “Welcome Awards 2006”.
More space, more individual attention, more capacity, and more exclusive service.
Some may say Bill Harrop is full of hot air but he also puts his money where his mouth is.
May 2008 marked the opening of a R2.8 Million Clubhouse, Pavilion and a fully licenced Restaurant at Bill Harrop’s country base in the Magalies River Valley in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site near Skeerpoort, and his confidence in the South African tourism industry is further expressed in the investment of another R1.6 Million putting another “Jumbo” 18 passenger balloon into service early December. This New Addition has now increased Bill Harrop’s “Original” Balloon Safari’s Fleet to a maximum of 60 passengers in one flight, or 120+ on a large corporate “double-hop”.
The established, traditionally exquisite Clubhouse ensures that whether it be a romantic celebration for 2 or a large corporate event it can be experienced in unassailable style.
